Onean who is known for the Onean Carver and Manta just released the new Carver X electric surfboard.
The board is designed for riders above 85 kg. Finally an electric surfboard which many people were looking for.

The weight of the riders has always been a challenge with electric surfboards.

Onean Carver X with dual-jet propuslion This allows the jetboard to achieve more thrust but also higher speeds. Once we have done more tests with different rider weights we will report more about this.
In order to feed the engine with so much power the Carver X electric surfboard has two interchangeable batteries. In fact two of the same batteries used for the original Carver and Manta jetboards.
These 2 batteries are supposed to be good for 40 minutes riding time in different speeds.
Carver X electric surfboard with new design The Carver X electric surfboard will not replace the Onean Carver.
Instead it is designed for riders above 85 kg and the original Carver will be still available for jetboard riders below 85 kg.
In this way lighter riders take advantage from a lower price and more heavy riders do still get what they need.
Onean Carver and Carver X The enduser price will be 8,490 EUR plus VAT and shipping according to the Onean website and you have to pay a 70% deposit.
The other 30% need to be paid before shipping which is supposed to be 4-6 weeks after your order.
The Carver X pack includes:
- 1 Carver X board
- 1 wireless remote (same like for the original Carver)
- 2 battery packs (same like for the original Carver)
- 2 battery charger
- 1 remote charger
- 1 fin set
- 2 foot straps
- 1 leach
