Electric hydrofoils are getting more and more popular. Not only in social media but also in the real world. Don’t miss the train to be part of this success story. It is such an awesome experience to fly above the water and it feels good how much attention you get from the audience around you. People make pictures, videos and ask a lot of questions because for the majority of people the electric hydrofoils are very new and somehow unreal.
A few electric surfboard companies are offering reseller programs and some also affiliate programs for test centres or rentals. The electric hydrofoil manufacturers such like Lift Foils, Fliteboard and others are doing the same.

We had a closer look at the reseller and affiliate programs offered by Lift Foils. Why Lift? Because we tried it ourselves since May 2019 as they were the first to market.

Electric Hydrofoil Reseller Program:

Do you already have a physical water sports store or you sell boats, yachts or any other water toys? Well, than you should seriously consider to sell electric hydrofoils as well. As mentioned above they get a lot of attention and are a real eye-catcher for any store. In order to sign up you have to sign an agreement to use the logos and marketing materials as well as to define your reseller margin.

You will get trainings and receive leads trough the Lift Foils website, where you will be listed as a partner. It is up to you if you want to offer try before you buy sessions as described under the affiliate paragraph below. It is however highly recommended that you offer this service as well. Customers who spend more than 10,000 EUR on a product usually want to test it before they buy.

If you don’t have a physical shop and don’t want to make the investment to keep stock of the eFoils, but enjoy teaching people how to use an e-foil the affiliate program might be the right one for you. You basically only need a spot close to you where you can offer either a rental and/or fly before you buy sessions.

This could be a lake, a river or the sea. Just make sure that your local authorities allow electric hydrofoiling / electric surfboards at this spot. Unfortunately the regulations are different region by region. Not only by country, even spot by spot.

You are free how much you want to charge for your rentals. It can be by hour, by battery charge or by day.

If you don’t want to offer rentals, you can become an fly before you buy test centre. This program offers your customers to try the boards before they purchase them.

In order to become an affiliate partner you have to sign an agreement to use the logos and marketing materials as well as to order 2 boards and 2 spare batteries. You will be able to order the equipment at a discounted price.
