The Liftfoils eFoil 2019 models were shown last week at the boot trade show in Germany.

This year Liftfoils will offer much more options for their eFoil customers. And they can now ship within 2 weeks.

CEO and founder Nick Leason showed us his new gear for this year. More wings, more boards, more colours, etc.

You can now customise your experience with these options.

Last year Nick was offering 2 boards with the eFoil e1 and efoil e1 sport, but Lift Foils eFoil 2019 will offer 2 more bodies. 

A larger one for beginners, schools and rentals and a shorter version for very advanced riders.

Next to the black and the white color option Lift will also offer a blue version this year.

The boards could even get a custom design, but this will come with an additional cost.

The larger school board has more volume, a shorter mast (60 cm instead of 75 cm) and a large 250 wing which shall it make much easier for beginners to fly.

The larger wing makes it possible to fly at lower speeds and gives more stability.

The short 4 foot 4 inch (132 cm) board for advanced riders will be available later in summer.

It is good for more aggressive turns and feels almost like a skateboard according to Nick.

This model was featuring the new folding propeller, which makes it possible to turn off the motor and ride in a wave eliminating the resistance of a normal propeller.

It will also increase the battery range in this case.

Let’s talk about wings. Last year Lift offered 110, 150 and 170 wings.

The Liftfoils eFoil 2019 models can be used with 7 different wings from 110 to 250.

Nick called the 250 wing “like riding with a school bus” 😉 It makes about 20 - 25 km/h compared to 50 km/h with 110 wing.

The Liftfoils eFoil is using automotive standard batteries as we have featured in our other Liftfoils article which shows the unboxing of the current models.

All options are modular and can be exchanged between the boards so you can customise to your needs without purchasing a second eFoil.
