The boot show in Germany is developing to the most important show for electric surfboard and E-Foil manufacturers. This year Lift Foils, Fliteboard, Lampuga, Torque, Onean, e-Takuma Jetsurf, Awake and Hoverstar are present. The 2020 boot show is from January 17th to 26th in Dusseldorf and we heard that at least 3 companies will present new boards.

One of them is Onean who is showing their new Onean Carver Twin. The “twin” is referring to their 2 jet engines like we know it from the Carver X, but it only has one battery as we know it from the Carver. Performance-wise it is positioned between the 2 prior models, but the Twin will replace the Carver. Originally the intend was to keep all 3 models.

The double  jetpack, as they call it, is supposed to output more water with the same power consumption which shall result into a 30% increase of the performance while delivering the same range with one battery compared to the Carver.

The Onean Carver Twin Jetboard can according to Onean serve riders up to 90 kg rather than 75 kg (Carver) and 115 kg (Carver X). It is supposed to accelerate faster and reach planning in a shorter time. The Twin is 240 cm long, 70 cm wide and has a volume of 150 litres.  The weight without battery is 20 kg.

The dual jet setup of the Carver Twin with slower rotation shall also cause less wear for a longer lifetime. The board is featuring an improved modular design which make certain components easy to interchange. While most components like the batteries and remote control are still the same than with the other 2 Carver models, other components like the jetpack or ECU/antenna model are now also plug and play. This development is supposed to save their  users and dealers time and money as the boards can be repaired more easy and locally.
