We have been using the Lift Foils eFoil stand for years at trade shows and in our store and showroom. However, it is quite fragile as it was originally designed for unpowered hydrofoil surfboards and not for the much heavier eFoil. In addition, it is only available to dealers. Also other solutions – like from Liquid Force – were not stable enough for us. Our idea: It should be a really stable electric hydrofoil stand in an attractive design.
Therefore we talked to Lift Foils if we could design our own eFoil stand based on the Lift design. After the acceptance we talked to several local craftsmen and decided to go for a slightly bigger, but more importantly more stable version. Due to the small quantities the price is quite high, but in the end we also had the stands made for our own store.
Due to some customer requests we now offer the eFoil stand also in our online store. The E Hydrofoil Stand is connectable and is made of 19 mm thick moisture resistant MDF boards. The dimensions are 950 x 600 x 120 mm. The construction consists of two identical side panels and a foot, middle and end frame. All corners are rounded and the finish is a black textured lacquer. We have immortalized ourselves with a discreet e-surfer.com engraving 🙂
The total weight is 3 kg. To protect the hydrofoil wing adhesive rubber pads are included, which can be adjusted easily depending on the wing size.
The stand was designed for the Lift Foils eFoil, but should also work for other electric hydrofoils. We will test this on occasion and post photos of it on our forum.
