If you start more aggressive carving with your Carbon GT you are very soon looking for more grip for Evolve Carbon GT boards.

The Evolve Carbon GT comes only with grip in the center plate. This may look nice, but is challenging at the same time. We will show you how to fix this.

More grip for Evolve Carbon GT

Fortunately the solution is an easy fix and also inexpensive.

You only have to buy some ordinary skateboard grip tape and add it to your board next to the existing grip tape in order to get more grip for your Evolve Carbon GT electric skateboard.

Just take some transparent paper to draw a rough layout for the additional grip tape. Due to the concave shape, you may want to divide it in 3 parts for the front and the back

No worries, the drawing doesn't has to be perfect. You can adjust later.

Make sure you clean the carbon surface before you stick the new grip tape to the board.

Important hint: Just remove a small part of the paper in the center of your grip tape to fix it. This makes it much easier to put in on the right place.

Once set, remove the paper on the left and the right side.

That's it. Now you will have much more grip for Evolve Carbon GT boards.
