The mo-jet is a modular electric surfboard built by Jetworx GmbH in Hamburg. A single jetbox holds the battery, the electronics and the jet drive. The modules around it turn that same unit into a jetboard, a bodyboard, a tow boogie or the drive of a tender boat.
That is what sets the mo-jet apart from every other jetboard we sell: you do not buy a second board, you buy a second module.

mo-jet SURF – Jetboard — 14,995 € · the classic jetboard you ride standing up. Made from the same virtually indestructible PE material as the CURF. This is the board most people start with.
mo-jet BODY – electric bodyboard — 14,759 € · the shorter module, designed for riding lying down. The easiest way in: no balance needed, you are moving within minutes.
mo-jet TENDER · a complete inflatable boat driven by the mo-jet jetbox, in two sizes: Tender 180 and Tender 238. An electric tender instead of a petrol outboard. Current price and sizes on the product page.
mo-jet WAKE – Tow Boogie — 1,059 € · an add-on for the SURF that pulls a wakeboarder, a surfer or a foiler on its own. No boat needed.
DivingJet BEAST — 32,725 € · the dive scooter of the family, and the only mo-jet that is not modular. 58 km/h on the surface, 25 km/h underwater.

The jetbox contains the battery, the electronics and the jet drive. Everything else is a module that mounts onto it:
That makes four water toys out of one drive unit. Add-on modules cost a few hundred euros — a mo-jet SURF becomes an electric bodyboard with the BODY module for 595 €.
The second thing that sets it apart is the battery concept: two interchangeable batteries instead of one fixed pack. That makes carrying it to the water easier, and with two separate chargers you are back on the water faster. A battery charges in 60 minutes with the battery set, in 75 minutes with the Quick Charger.
The question is not which board, but how you want to ride. If you want to stand up, take the SURF. If you have never ridden a jetboard before, the BODY is the gentler start — lying down, nothing to balance.
If you already own a mo-jet, the interesting part is not another board at all. It is the modules: a few hundred euros turn the board you have into something else.
And if you want to go under water rather than across it, the BEAST is the answer — but that one is a separate machine, not a module.

The TENDER is not a board at all but a complete inflatable boat, driven by the same jetbox. It comes in two sizes, the Tender 180 and the larger Tender 238. For anyone who wants to get to shore without a petrol outboard — quiet, and nothing to spill.
The WAKE turns the SURF into a tow boogie. It pulls a wakeboarder, a surfer or a foiler on its own, without a boat and without a driver. At 1,059 € it is the cheapest way to get towed on your home water.
The BEAST is a dive scooter and an electric bodyboard in one machine — and it is the exception in the range: it cannot be rebuilt into anything else. The shape is full carbon and air-filled, so it planes across the surface at up to 58 km/h. Slow down, shift your weight forward and the shape floods within seconds; under water it still does up to 25 km/h, which is an exceptional figure for a dive scooter.
Behind it sits the same mo-jet drive unit, here with 20 hp and around 120 kg of thrust. You can ride it at our Berlin showroom.
Benjamin Köhnsen and his team have been working on electric surfboards since 2009 and founded the Lampuga brand in 2013. The inflatable Lampuga Air was one of the first jetboards on the market. The team then developed the CURF jetboard from an extremely robust PE material — the same virtually indestructible material that is used in the mo-jet today.
Since 2019 the team has been working on the mo-jet as Jetworx GmbH. We have been in regular contact with them since 2017, have tested every product from Lampuga to CURF, ridden them ourselves and sold them as a dealer. That is why we can tell you where the modular idea works and where it does not.

Yes, and in the UK with fewer hurdles than in most of Europe: there is no national licence, registration or number plate for a motorised surfboard. What decides where you may ride is local — council and harbour byelaws at the coast, and inland the Canal & River Trust or the Environment Agency, which licence powered craft. Not by law — the UK has no compulsory insurance for a motorised surfboard. In practice you will need it anyway: many harbours, inland waterway operators and clubs ask for third-party liability cover before they let you launch, and the rules differ from country to country across Europe.
