E-surfer, watersports that leave you in awe

Hello, I am Andreas Lakeberg, founder and CEO of E-SURFER. Together with my wife Andrea (right, Andrea & Andreas – that already leads to confusion) and our employees we are one of the leading dealers of eFoils & jetboards in Europe.

E-SURFER was founded in April 2017. Since then we have personally tested dozens and dozens of eSurfboards. We are in direct contact with the founders and CEOs of the various brands and have often been actively involved in improving the products.

In addition to our store & test center in Berlin, where you can also test the boards, we have partners throughout Germany and Europe who can also offer test rides for us. Our blog and guides give all those interested in this new sport countless useful information. From product reviews and comparison tables to interviews, tips and tricks and clarification on the legal situation with eSurfboards. Not only everything personally researched, but partly negotiated with the authorities and manufacturers themselves (!).

Our experience

Over 40 years of water sports

I started windsurfing at the age of 11. Since the age of 12 I have been winning regattas regularly. I continued with water skiing and wakeboarding. Then surfing, jet skiing, kite surfing, etc. We just love water sports.

As a Head of Sales and European Managing Director for American and Asian technology companies, I am aware of the cultural differences. This helps me today to get the best conditions, delivery times and product support for my customers from international suppliers.

Over 20 years of action sports online

It all started with wakeboarding.de in 1996, the first online magazine for wakeboarding. This was followed by jetski.de, snowboarder.de, skateboarding.de, wassersport.de and so on. Finally, in partnership with sport1.de, the largest funsport portal in Germany sport2.de was born.

Over 7 years eSurfboards

e-surfer.com was the first online medium worldwide for eFoils and Jetboards and is still the most visited blog in this category. In addition, we run the first and only forum, as well as the leading Facebook groups and YouTube channels.
