The easiest way is at our showroom at Funkhaus Berlin: there you can test eFoils from Aerofoils, Lift Foils and Fliteboard as well as jet boards from Awake and mo-jet. A test ride costs €299. Outside Berlin, our partners offer test rides in Bremen, Düsseldorf, at Lake Garda, in Barcelona, Sotogrande and Porto Heli.
We recommend a test ride with advice before you buy an eFoil or jet board. The models differ a lot in board size, wing and drive, and the quickest way to find out what suits you is on the water. We test every product ourselves and have been advising customers in our own showroom since 2019.
A test ride costs €299 including VAT, whether eFoil or jet board.
If you then buy an eFoil or jet board from us, we deduct the €299 from your invoice. On request, we provide a wetsuit, impact vest and helmet.

An eFoil test ride takes 90 to 120 minutes, a jet board test ride 60 minutes. Both start with a briefing on land. Our trainer explains all the components, you set up the board together, and then you head out on the water. There the trainer stays with you and gives you instructions via headset while you ride.
Afterwards you have plenty of time for your questions: which board, which wing and which battery suit your weight, your local waters and your riding style.
Yes, in Germany you need a boat licence (Sportbootführerschein) for a jet board, because the motor has more than 7.5 kW. Please bring it to your test ride. You don’t need a licence for an eFoil.
We offer test rides from the age of 16, for eFoils and jet boards alike. For the jet board you also need the boat licence.
