You are not sure? No problem, our buying guide for eSurfboards will explain the individual variants in detail. We start with the surfboard with motor overview and then go into detail in the eFoil comparison and the jetboard comparison.
A high quality electric stand up paddle board starts at 2,200 EUR. Both the individual SUP motors and complete E-SUPS are in this range.
An E-SUP or Electric Stand Up Paddle Board is a surfboard with an electric motor.
A SUP motor reaches between 5 and 10 km/h, depending on the model.
Yes, E-SUPs do not have an open propeller, but a protected jet drive. The motor shuts off in case of a fall.
The E-SUP speed is controlled by a radio remote control on the paddle or wrist.
You can easily retrofit an existing SUP with a motor. For example with the Scubajet.
Our SUP motors have a fin adapter for US fin and slide-in. The motor then simply replaces the main fin.
Some models, like the Sipaboards, also use the motor as an electric pump.
The E-Surfer team has been working intensively on eSurfboards since 2017. Ideally, you make an appointment in our store and test center in Berlin or call our hotline.
Yes. We offer test rides in our store and test center in Berlin. The fee for this will be charged in case of a sale.
High quality E-SUP solutions start from 2,200 EUR. A single SUP motor that can also be used as a diving scooter allows higher speeds. A complete E-SUP solution is more comfortable.
Yes. No restrictions apply, as the electric SUPs have a power output of less than 2.21 kW (3 hp).
It depends on the use. If you want to use the SUP motor also as a diving scooter, then we recommend the Scubajet. If it is just about SUP riding, then we recommend Sipaboards, because the handling is easier and these boards do not have to replace the fins. With this it is possible to ride normally without the motor drive.
Yes, you can paddle normally with the electric SUPs. Integrated solutions such as Sipaboards have the advantage that you do not have to do without the fins.
