Setting up the Fliteboard

Now we come to some useful information that goes beyond the Fliteboard manual. We have recorded various videos to make it easier for our customers to use the Fliteboard.

These include the following video from our E-SURFER YouTube channel, which shows the assembly of the Fliteboard in detail:

The assembly is actually not difficult and once you've done it, you won't need any more instructions. Nevertheless, it may be useful when setting up the Flite for the first time.

Charge the battery and remote control

Before the first ride (and of course afterwards ;-)) you need to charge the batteries. The battery of the eFoil before every ride. And the remote control battery about every fourth to fifth ride.

Charging the eFoil battery may seem trivial, but you might wonder how many questions we get about it. Who reads the Fliteboard manual 😉 The clue is the magnet 😉

Connecting the Flite remote control

The Fliteboard remote control must be connected to the drive (pairing). Of course we also have a video about this:

Without good instructions, you can get frustrated. But with this video it will definitely work 😉

Changing the propeller

The Fliteboard propeller is made of plastic. This was done deliberately. It breaks when it comes into contact with something. This is for your safety. Fliteboard therefore includes a second propeller and propeller guard with the delivery.

Changing modules: Jet & propeller

You can ride the Fliteboard with both a propeller and a jet drive. If, for example, the father wants to ride with an open propeller but use the safe jet drive for the children, you can easily swap the module.

Fliteboard remote control settings

Fliteboard allows its users to make many adjustments in the settings. However, you must be careful not to select the wrong parameters. Otherwise you could lose performance or even cause damage.
