The right water toys for a yacht are the ones many different guests can ride safely, one after another: eFoils with plenty of volume, jetboards, electric jet skis and underwater scooters. For guests without experience, eFoil scooters with a handlebar such as the Aerofoils HyperFly work well. If you ride sportily yourself, choose a carbon eFoil, for example from Aerofoils, Lift Foils or Awake.

Many yachts know us for our accessories, such as fireproof battery boxes and our eFoil stand. Many others bought their eFoils and jetboards from us. We supply every water toy in our shop, tax-free and straight to your berth. We have tested all of them ourselves, since 2017.

In this article you will learn:

• which water toys suit which yacht
• what else you need on board
• how delivery and spare parts work during the season

What does a yacht need besides the water toys?

Besides the boards, you need three things on board:

• safe storage for the batteries
• a fixed place for the board
• enough time to charge between two sessions

For the first two, we supply fireproof battery boxes and our own eFoil stand, together with the board.

Fireproof battery boxes. Our boxes are UN-certified dangerous goods packaging made of aluminium by Zarges. There are two sizes:

• Box M: 600 × 600 × 250 mm, 11.5 kg, for eFoil batteries from Aerofoils, Lift Foils and Fliteboard
• Box L: 800 × 600 × 410 mm, 13 kg, for larger jetboard batteries, for example from Awake

Do not store batteries fully charged for long periods; keep them partially charged. This protects the cells, and there is much less energy in the box. We will check with you before delivery which box fits your battery.

eFoil stand. Our stand is our own design, and we use it ourselves on yacht assignments. It is built for the deck, the saloon or the storage room:

• 950 × 600 × 120 mm, only 2.8 kg
• made of moisture-resistant PETg, assembled without tools in a few minutes
• cut-outs for mast and foil mount fit Aerofoils, Lift Foils and Fliteboard

If you have an eFoil worth 10,000 to 15,000 € on board, you do not need an improvised cardboard box underneath it.

Charging. Plan the charging times into the day:

• Aerofoils: 50 minutes to 2 hours 40 minutes to 80 %, depending on battery and charger
• Lift Foils: Gen5 battery with the included Quick Charger to 80 % in about one hour
• Awake: Flex XR 4 battery in 120 minutes

If several guests are going to ride one after another, a second battery is worth it.

How does delivery to a yacht work?

We deliver directly to your yacht, marina, shipyard or agent. Complete boards arrive within Europe in 3–10 working days, depending on the berth. Delivery is tax-free for export, or for delivery abroad with a valid VAT ID.

Boards, fireproof battery boxes and stands come in one delivery. Your crew does not have to coordinate three suppliers.

For the offer we need:

• the name of the yacht
• the billing address
• the delivery address
• for tax-free delivery abroad: the VAT ID

The best time is winter, when the yacht is in the shipyard. Then everything is on board for the start of the season.

What if a part breaks during the season?

We send spare parts by express within Europe; they reach you in 1–3 working days. That way a board does not sit idle for weeks just because a part is missing. And not only in Europe: we ship spare parts and complete boards to yachts all over the world.

Our support helps your crew with the replacement, by WhatsApp, email or video call right at the board. This applies to all brands we supply.

Which water toys do we supply?

We supply every water toy in our shop:

• eFoils from Aerofoils, Lift Foils and Awake
• Jetboards from Awake and mo-jet
• Electric jet skis from JETSURF, ROXEN and Awake
• Underwater scooters from SEABOB and DivingJet

What fits depends mainly on who rides on board.

Which eFoil suits guests without experience?

For changing guests you need plenty of volume and simple handling.

eFoil scooter with handlebar. One example is the HyperFly by Aerofoils. It is the board we deliver most often to rental companies, yachts and schools:

• 230 litres, a handlebar with built-in remote
• Riders who need two or three sessions on a carbon board often fly on the HyperFly in their first.
• A magnetic safety key cuts the motor as soon as the rider falls off.

Inflatable eFoil. The AirFly has 150 litres and carries riders up to 120 kg. Its soft shell protects boat and yacht from scratches.

Large carbon board. There are two options:

• The Aerofoils Adventure has 103 litres and carries up to 120 kg. It is forgiving enough for beginners and for riders of different weights.
• The LIFT5 F is the beginner eFoil from Lift Foils: fibreglass board, aluminium mast, 67 or 83 litres, up to 90 minutes of ride time.

Which eFoil suits sporty riders?

If the owner or crew already foil, the board can be smaller and faster:

• Lift Foils LIFT5: three sizes from 55 to 83 litres, Gen5 battery with 2.2 kWh, up to 90 minutes of ride time and up to 50 km/h
• Awake VINGA Carve: 77 litres, board only 7.5 kg, up to 120 minutes and up to 45 km/h. The Linear Jet is fully enclosed, so there is no free-spinning propeller.
• Aerofoils Performance: 83 litres, up to 55 km/h, for sporty, lighter riders with boardsport experience

Which jetboards suit yachts?

A jetboard glides on the water without a foil.

• Awake RÄVIK Adventure: Awake itself describes it as a water toy for on board. The V-hull runs smoothly in choppy water, and several people can ride it one after another.
• mo-jet: The system is modular. One jetbox powers a jetboard (SURF), a bodyboard (BODY), an inflatable board (Air) or the electric tender TENDER. Everything uses the same batteries and the same remote, which makes it easy for the crew.

Which electric jet skis suit yachts?

If you prefer riding with a handlebar, an electric jet ski is a good choice:

• JETSURF Electric 2 Ski: stand-up jet ski weighing 38.3 kg, up to 55 km/h, 3 kWh battery for 25 to 55 minutes. Take off the carbon handlebar and it becomes a jetboard.
• ROXEN: electric jet ski from Sweden with 22 kW, up to 56 km/h and 79 kg without battery.
• Awake NAVI: Here you sit and fly on a foil, alone or for two, up to 30 km/h and up to 3 hours with two batteries.

Which underwater scooters do we supply?

For snorkellers and divers on board we supply:

• SEABOB F9 and F9 S: up to 30 m diving depth, 40 to 60 minutes of run time
• SEABOB SE63: 35 kg, so it can be moved on board without a crane
• DivingJet BEAST by mo-jet: for experienced riders, up to 58 km/h above water

Do you brief the crew?

Yes. When you buy a board from us, your crew receives a briefing as a PDF by email. We answer questions by WhatsApp or email. If it is quicker, we show it in a WhatsApp video call right at the board. This support applies for the whole season.

We ride all the boards ourselves and know where things go wrong on board, from the right charging plan to the question of which board a guest can really handle after ten minutes.
