SiFly is a Bulgarian eFoil manufacturer in the budget segment. In 2026 its boards cost around €5,950 to €9,520 including VAT, while our most affordable eFoil starts at €11,799. We have known SiFly since its debut in Cannes in 2022, have ridden the boards ourselves and ran two of them at our eFoil school on Lake Garda. Here is our honest take.
Why buy from E-SURFER?
Eight brands, dozens of models ridden by us. We tell you honestly which board suits you.
SiFly offers three series in 2026: the Stellar series with carbon boards for around €9,280 to €9,520, the Rider series with EPP foam boards from around €5,950, and the inflatable Lite series for around €8,330. These are the manufacturer's direct prices, converted by us including 19% VAT. E-SURFER does not sell SiFly eFoils, but we do stock tuning parts for SiFly riders.
The Stellar series is SiFly's performance line, with carbon boards for intermediate and advanced riders: Stellar X with 75 litres for around €9,520, Stellar S with 98 litres and Stellar R with 120 litres for around €9,280 each.
The Rider boards are made of EPP, a rigid foam with an aluminium frame: Rider with 110 litres from around €5,950, Rider+ with 130 litres for beginners from around €6,190. Our experience with EPP boards: they tend to soak up water and become unnecessarily heavy.
The Lite series is inflatable and packs down small: Lite with 110 litres and Lite+ with 170 litres for beginners, both for around €8,330.
In our experience, not reliable enough for our range. In summer 2023 we used two SiFly eFoils at our eFoil school on Lake Garda. They broke down too often, so we parted with them again. What we did like: the bright colours and the large 170-litre board for heavy riders and schools.

We first met SiFly in 2022 at its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival. In its first sales year, 2023, the brand launched three fibreglass models — the EasyRider (170 litres), the Freerider (120 litres) and the S Model (107 litres) — plus short 55 cm masts and large beginner wings. At boot 2024 we raised the breakdowns with CEO Alexander. He spoke about them openly and assured us the problems had been fixed. We still decided not to add SiFly to our range. For our E-SURFER YouTube channel we filmed this video at the time:

Because SiFly produces almost everything in-house, even the batteries, and uses simpler materials on its budget models. Premium brands have their batteries built by battery specialists. That costs more, but it brings safety in cells, sealing and lifespan — exactly where an eFoil is most expensive to repair.

Many details of the SiFly boards looked familiar — the brand has happily taken inspiration from other manufacturers. With ideas of its own, such as the large 170-litre board, SiFly has still earned a place in the entry-level segment.
A premium eFoil that we have tested ourselves and can service after you buy it. The most affordable way in with us is the AirFly by Aerofoils from €11,799, followed by the LIFT5 F by Lift Foils for €14,169. Both cost more than a SiFly, but they also last longer.
Good materials, reliable technology, a pleasant ride and service with spare parts come at a price. You will find every model in our eFoil shop. Not sure which board suits you? Give us a call — we advise you seven days a week.

If you already ride a SiFly, we have three tuning parts for you: the SiFly aluminium propeller for €299, the flow-optimised SiFly cone for €39 and negative shims for €29.90. All three are in stock and ship right away.
We will keep watching SiFly and test new models as soon as we can ride them. Maybe the brand will win us over one day.
A SiFly eFoil costs around €5,950 to €9,520 in 2026 including 19% VAT: the Rider series from around €5,950, the inflatable Lite series around €8,330 and the carbon Stellar boards around €9,280 to €9,520. These are the manufacturer's direct prices — E-SURFER does not sell SiFly eFoils.
The SiFly can reach speeds of up to 45 km/h and more. However, special wings are needed for this. The normal cruising speed is between 20 and 25 km/h.
According to the manufacturer, between 60 and 120 minutes depending on the battery size. The rider's weight and speed also affect the range.
If it has to be a SiFly: the Rider+ with 130 litres for beginners, a carbon Stellar for advanced riders. We do not sell SiFly ourselves, because our test boards on Lake Garda broke down too often. Our most affordable way in is the AirFly by Aerofoils from €11,799, and you will find every model in our eFoil shop.
The 170-liter board is designed for riders up to 150 kg. However, you have to be very talented, because the engine is pushed to its limits. Up to 120 kg, it should be no problem.
The Bulgarian manufacturer produces almost everything itself. Even the battery. In addition, the low-priced models rely on cheaper materials.
Yes. There's no eFoil-specific national law in the UK, and recreational eFoils need no national registration or licence — so your SiFly eFoil is legal to own and ride. What matters is local: coastal byelaws and harbour authorities regulate personal watercraft, while inland waters such as the Canal & River Trust (licence) or the River Thames (registration) set their own rules. Full overview here: eFoils in the UK: rules, licences & where to ride.
No. The UK has no national licence requirement for recreational eFoils — the rules are local and operator-based. Harbour authorities and byelaws govern the coast; some inland operators require a licence (Canal & River Trust) or registration (River Thames), and in Scotland motorboats need a Scottish Navigation Licence. Your SiFly eFoil needs no national licence.
Insurance isn't required by national law in the UK, but we strongly recommend third-party liability cover — without it you're personally liable for damage to others. Some operators require it: the River Thames, for example, mandates third-party insurance for motorised craft, and many clubs and inland navigations ask for proof before you launch.
